Literature Text
Sometimes I look into the mirror, and I imagine I'm an older me getting ready for a date with my fiance. I clean off my glasses with a clothe, returning them to my face so I can recheck my dyed-black hair and my three-piece suit. My blue eyes are sparkling, my short hair is perfectly parted, and I smirk at the thought that there is nothing more breath-taking at that moment than the size of my ego. Then I turn around at the sound of my love returning to the bedroom from our bathroom, and my breathe is quite literally taken away.
She is wearing a blouse and skirt that accent all her best features, which is every one. Her hair is tinted blue in places and brushed back from her face, some of the blue strands falling to frame her eyes. I want to tell her how my heart skipped two beats just looking at her, but my lungs still refuse to work properly. She sees me staring and quirks her lips in a tentative smile. She's not really comfortable in skirts, and I know this, but before I can give her a compliment she likely wouldn't really believe, she asks me a question.
"Do I look OK? Should I change?"
My mind freezes for a second; 'OK' doesn't begin to cover it. How do I tell her that? I think of the songs I've written for her, and I start to run the tunes through my head. Then I remember a moment from years before, and I start to sing a song that isn't of my own writing.
"'Oh her eyes, her eyes
Make the stars look like
They're not shining
Her hair, her hair
Falls perfectly without her trying
She's so beautiful
And I tell her every day
Yeah I know, I know
When I compliment her
She won't believe me
And its so, its so
Sad to think she don't
See what I see
But every time she asks
Me do I look okay
I say
When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops
And stares for a while
Cause girl you're
Amazing
Just the way you are
Her lips, her lips
I could kiss them all day
If she'd let me
Her laugh, her laugh
She hates but I think its so sexy
She's so beautiful
And I tell her every day
Oh you know, you know, you know
I'd never ask you to change
If perfect is what you're
Searching for
Then just stay the same
So don't even bother asking
If you look okay
You know I'll say
When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops
And stares for a while
Cause girl you're
Amazing
Just the way you are
The way you are
The way you are
Girl your amazing
Just the way you are
When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change

And when you smile,

I imagine, then, that she is smiling and walking into my arms. And I come back to this time, this mirror, and see the smile that has crossed my face from ear to ear. The same smile I get every time she crosses my mind.
Yes, she is amazing. Just the way she is.

All These Things, Boy
When there's no where else to run,
Will anyone want to buy your stuff
No they won't.
You just can't cope mon.
You just can't cope mon, so long.
You should just move on, you should just let go.
But no, but no, no you can't, you can't.
You wanna cash on, the gaming industry
Your stuff has no reason to be made and sold.
You're not all that great, you keep making mistakes.
You're so lame, why don't you go on vacation.
No one really cares, about the stuff you make.
You need direction for some sense, oh oh oh oh oh
Just get out. Yeah, you should just go and get right out
yeah, just pack your stuff and send it to recycling
just take your stuff an

The Letter
Of me it always gets the better
A reminder of what you once were
It will stick to me no what what will occur
A piece of parper with so much meaning
A memory of the smile beaming
The memories tend to flow
It will always be a comfort to know
The degree of happiness that came
Of how you took my heart to claim
You may be distant from my heart
But the paper gives my day a start
The words you wrote are slowly fading
My mind is always one you're raiding
The moonlilght still shines below
Gleaming memories from a freshly fallen snow
The summer nights still remind me of the night
When your smile pierced through with an angel's light
No matter how

This was written after TheSecretWatcher sent me a song that made my chest fill with love.
That song was Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are", the lyrics of which are in this story. Then she sent me a video of Megan Nicole singing a slightly altered version, and I almost cried with joy.
You make me so happy, love.
